What is Robinhood Chain?

Robinhood Chain is a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 blockchain built for onchain finance and tokenized real-world assets. It's designed so assets can be transferred, traded, and self-custodied onchain without intermediaries. Mainnet launched on 1 July 2026.

What is Robinhood Chain built on?

Arbitrum's Layer 2 technology — the Orbit stack. It inherits Ethereum's security while delivering high throughput, low fees, and fast block times, and because it's EVM-compatible, standard Ethereum smart contracts and tooling work on it. ETH is the gas token.

How do I add Robinhood Chain to my wallet?

What makes Robinhood Chain different?

Robinhood Chain is a permissionless, EVM-compatible Ethereum Layer 2 built by Robinhood on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, live on mainnet since July 2026. It settles to Ethereum and inherits its security, uses ETH as its gas token, and runs sub-second blocks at fees under a cent — so standard Ethereum contracts and tooling work on it unchanged.

What it was built for is tokenized real-world assets. Robinhood's Stock Tokens, onchain equities that trade around the clock, are the headline case, available to eligible users in more than 120 countries with full self-custody, and Uniswap, 1inch, and Arcus were live on the network from launch.

Zerion's own two-month study of the chain found the assets people actually held were broader than the pitch: 95% of the wallets holding a Stock Token also held speculative tokens, and total token positions grew 48× over the period. A wallet for this network has to handle both, and show them next to everything you hold elsewhere.
